About Novablox
A roofing company built by Malaysian tradesmen, for Malaysian roofs
We started Novablox in 2009 because too many of our friends were getting roofs that simply could not handle a Malaysian downpour. Today we work on heritage shophouses in Ipoh, double-storey terraces in PJ, condominium repairs in Bangsar, and large commercial reroofs from Klang to Cyberjaya.
Every job is run by an in-house supervisor. We do not subcontract the actual roofing work — only specialist trades like scaffolders or arborists when the site demands it. That single decision is the reason our quality stays consistent.

How quickly can you respond to a leaking roof?
For active leaks inside the Klang Valley we aim to be on site within 24 hours, and within 72 hours for the rest of Peninsular Malaysia. Outside business hours we offer a temporary tarp service for urgent storm damage.
Do you handle both residential and commercial roofs?
Yes. Roughly two-thirds of our work is residential — terraces, bungalows, condominium repairs — and the remainder is commercial work for shops, factories, and small office buildings. Both teams are supervised in-house.
What roofing materials do you work with?
Clay and concrete tiles, metal sheets (Zincalume, Colorbond and similar), bitumen shingles, polycarbonate awnings, and torch-on membranes for flat roofs. We will recommend what fits your budget, climate exposure, and structure.
Do you provide quotes in writing?
Always. Every quote includes itemised materials, labour, projected timeline, payment milestones, and warranty terms. Verbal "kira-kira" quotes are not how we work.
What guarantee do you offer on repairs?
Targeted repairs come with a 24-month workmanship guarantee. New roofs are covered by a 10-year workmanship guarantee, on top of manufacturer warranties on the materials themselves.
Are you insured?
Yes — Workmen's Compensation Trust (WCT) coverage and contractor's all-risk insurance. We are happy to share the certificates of currency at the quotation stage.
Can you work on heritage and pre-war properties?
A significant part of our business is heritage and conservation work, particularly around Ipoh, Taiping, and parts of central KL. We hold the necessary craftsmanship references and can liaise with local authorities where required.
