Return & refund policy

Roofing is a service, not a parcel — so "returns" mean something slightly different here. This page explains how we handle cancellations, refunds, and rectification work.

Scope

This policy applies to services delivered or to be delivered by Novablox Roofing Solutions Sdn Bhd under an accepted quotation. Because we do not retail physical goods through this website, there are no shipped products to return.

Cancelling before work begins

You can cancel an accepted quotation at any time before the mobilisation date with full refund of any deposit paid, provided we have not yet incurred direct project costs (for example, special-order materials).

Where we have already ordered project-specific materials that cannot be returned to suppliers, we may retain the actual incurred cost from the deposit and refund the balance.

Cancelling after work has commenced

If you choose to cancel after our crew has begun on-site work, you are liable for the value of materials installed, labour delivered to date, and reasonable demobilisation costs. We will issue a clear final account and refund any balance promptly.

Refund timelines

Approved refunds are processed within fourteen (14) working days. Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the original deposit unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Rectification under warranty

If a defect arises in our workmanship within the applicable warranty period (24 months for repairs, 10 years for full replacements), please contact us in writing. We will arrange an inspection within ten (10) working days and rectify covered defects at no charge to you.

Where the inspection establishes that the issue is not caused by our workmanship — for example, storm damage, structural movement, or interference by another contractor — we will explain our findings and offer a quotation for any remedial works.

Disputed work

If you feel that a completed job does not meet the specification on the accepted quotation, please raise it with us within fourteen (14) days of the completion handover. We will inspect promptly and, where the issue is on us, correct it without further charge.

Force majeure

Refunds and rectification obligations do not apply where the underlying issue is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including cyclonic winds, lightning, earthquakes, civil unrest, or governmental action.

How to make a claim

Send an email to [email protected] referencing your project number (printed on your quotation and invoice) and a brief description of the issue. We will acknowledge within one business day and propose an inspection slot.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other applicable Malaysian legislation.
