The short version
We use a deliberately small set of cookies — and similar browser-storage mechanisms — to keep the site working smoothly and to remember whether you have already accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not share what you do on this site with any external party.
The cookies and storage items we actually set
Strictly necessary
PHPSESSID — a session identifier that allows the site to remember which form session you are in, so that anti-tampering tokens work. It expires when you close the tab.
nv_cookie_choice — stored in your browser's local storage, this records whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies so that we do not pester you on every visit.
Functional
Where you accept non-essential cookies, we may set lightweight identifiers to remember a chosen language preference or a closed banner. We do not currently set additional cookies in this category.
Analytics & advertising
This site does not run analytics or advertising cookies at the time of writing. If we ever introduce them, we will update this policy and re-request your consent.
Managing your preferences
You can change your mind whenever you like. The small cookie-settings icon in the lower-left corner of every page reopens the consent banner so you can flip your choice. Clearing your browser's site data will also reset the preference.
Browser-level controls
Every modern browser lets you block, restrict, or delete cookies at the browser level. Have a look at the help section of your browser of choice — the controls are usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings".
