Tile salvage
Careful removal, cleaning, and storage of original tiles for re-installation. Replacement tiles sourced from the same kiln family where possible.
For pre-war shophouses, kampung-style houses, and conservation-zoned properties — restoration that protects the building's character while bringing performance up to today's standards.

The trap with heritage work is the temptation to "modernise" details that gave the building its character in the first place. Our restoration teams work the other way around: we start by documenting what is original and what has been changed over the decades, then plan a restoration that respects what was there.
Where original materials cannot be sourced, we use the closest period-correct equivalent and note the substitution in the project record. For statutory conservation properties we liaise with the local heritage authority and produce the documentation they require.
